Three day weekend.

It isn't very often that we get a nice long 3 day weekend. It is even more rare when we have absolutely nowhere to go during a 3 day weekend. I often think about what it would be like if we didn't have anything to do, or anywhere to go, and this weekend I get just that!

The week days are often incredibly busy for us. Even with our random appointments spread out, when you multiply it by seven, it is no longer spread out. Not that I am complaining or anything. The kids and I often find other adventures to do while we are out and about, before and after appointments. This makes for a very interesting day. But this weekend? Oh, this weekend will be delightful, in all of it's boring glory. We are going to bake, and clean, and make crafts together. We are going to do things because we want to, and not because it is scheduled into my little pocket book. This weekend we will be spontaneous, and have the freedom to do anything that tickles our fancy at that given moment.

This chilly Saturday morning started a little earlier than normal. After putting themselves to bed early last night, a few of the littles have woken exceptionally early. We turned the heater on, and piled into one big bed. Morning snuggles are one of the greatest things that I cherish, and during the weeks, we don't always have time to just lounge around and be together. Not having to be on the constant go is really nice. So today, we have no schedule. We wake when we want to, we eat when we please, and we choose what we do on a whim.

Just because we can.
